Non Delivery of First Flight Courie

Our firm had dispatched a courier through First Flight Courier Limited, the details of which are mentioned below:

Consignment No.: D44130621

Date of Booking: 07-Nov-09

Place of Booking: Delhi

Destination: Bhusawal

The courier was delivered to First Flight Office at Bhusawal on 09-Nov-09. However, it was not delivered to the addresee till 13-Nov-09. On 13-Nov, our firm gets a call from the Bhusawal Office saying that the courier is being returned to us citing that Bhusawal is a Non-Service Station.

Our grievance is

(a) Why was the non-service station not checked at the time of booking by First Flight Courier Limited?

(b) Why was the non-delivery of courier not informed to us on 9th Nov or 10th Nov? Why was there delay on updating status of non-delivery?

Our firm had submitted important documents for a bid at a Leading Organization at its Bhusawal Office. This non-delivery and careless approach has put the firm at a disadvantage and has had impacted its reputation. Moreover, the non-friendly attitude of customer care center of First Flight has created dissatisfaction. We take this as a breach of trust - after promising a service it is not withheld.

In view of the above, I would request that this complaint be forwarded to the concerned authorities at First Flight. We may be forced to take this matter with relevant authorities as well in case we do not hear from them.
