Irregular business deals n practices by authorised service centre Fly mobile

Dear Sir,

1. I had given my Fly Cell phone handset for minor repairs (no volume in ear phones: however speaker were fine) to the authorised dealer of the company as listed in the fly site to the following dealer :

2. I had given them the handset on 29 Sep 09 and they promised that it would be repaired in 2-3 days time. However it took almost 15 days for me to get the set repaired from them with numerous visits and repeated telephone request. Their reply was that they have sent it the company at Okhla and it will come back soon. They had charged me Rs 250.00 and had given me a reciept for the collecting the set back. On 13 October I went to collect the set after they has confirmed me that set had been repaired. The set was apparently working fine at this stage. The service centre the asked me to pay additional Rs 550.00 for the repairs. I paid the amount. BUT DESPITE NUMEROUS REQUESTS FOR A BILL OR SOME REPAIR WARRANTY OR STATEMENT OF THE WORK CARIED OUT THE PART REPLACED THEY REFUSED TO GIVE ANYTHING IN WRITING. WHEN THE OWNER WAS CONTACTED HE GRUDGINGLY AGREED TO GIVE ME A BILL OF Rs 800.00 WITH AN ADDITIONAL TAX OF 10% (Rs 80.00) FOR GETTING THE BILL OF STATING THAT REPAIR OF MOBILE HANDSET MC -100 WITHOUT ANY MORE DETAILS.I found this highly irregular. The service engineer promised at this stage that within 15 days any problem with the set would be looked into for free. Next day the phone became dead and didnt switch ON . As i was out of station so i waited for getting back to Delhi. On 19 Oct 09 (within 6 days of the delivery) I went to the service center and they FLATLY REFUSED TO ACCEPT ANYTHING. The service center refused to repair the set. They said that the set was working fine when it was deliverd and anyway i can never prove wht repair was ever carried out since they knew no details were ever furnished by them.

3. It is requested the matter may please be looked into and appropriate action against the service center be taken. I may be kept informed regarding the same.
