Need clarification and request for cancellation of BT

I Sunit Dhiman holding GEmoney card, had the worst experience with the customer service which was provided to me over the phone by the CSA’s as well as the Team Leader.

I have placed a request for Balance transfer for the amount of Rs. XXXXX.00 on 22nd Nov through your Rep/Associate “Vijay Malhotra” who informed me that the cheque will be sent to me with in 7 days, and on the same day I have placed a request to change my mailing address to my New Company’s address “PTC Software India Pvt. Ltd” and I have also instructed him that the cheque should be sent to me on my new company’s address or send it to my home address.

Then also the cheque was delivered to my old companys address, any how I have managed to get that cheque from my pervious company by tracking the AWB number from the courier service.

I have deposited that cheque in ICICI bank for the payment and got the information today that the stop payment was placed on that cheque which was sent from you guys and the reason is that some one had placed a STOP PAYMENT on that cheque.

I have talked to one of the Team Leaders/Supervisor “KANCHAN” and she said she will be giving me a call back after 15 mins after the investigation and during the conversation she used these words “I am getting the pain to investigate your issue” when I insist for the immediate resolution she dis-connected the call.

Again I called the customer service and spoke to Krishnan to transfer the call to Kanchan he placed me on hold and returned back to me and provided the information that she doesn’t have time to talk to me and will give me a call back with in 24 hrs, after a long argument with the associate, he transferred the call to Kanchan and she said nothing can be done and she will call me back me with in 2-3 days and let me know the reason.

I have already made a payment of Rs. XXXX.00 towards GE Money card for the balance transfer request before the due date and since the BT cheque was stopped by you I want that money to be returned to me in the form of cash/cheque to my new mailing address and cancel the BT request as I don’t want the BT any more.

And, Now I need the clarification on these questions,

1.By who’s authorization the stop payment was made?

2. Who is responsible for the late fee and the cheque bounce fee to ICICI bank as the cheque was rejected?

3. Why my mailing address is not yet updated, since I have placed a request on 22nd Nov?

4. Why I am getting 10 different answers from 10 different customer service associates for the same Question.

5. Why the team lead was rude at me?

6. Were the customer service associates certified before handling calls?

Suggestions to GE Customer service

1. Because none of the Customer service associates as well as the Team leaders have the complete product knowledge send them for re-training.

2. Train them on Customer service skills.
