I am Sanjay Patel. I completed my 12th and was thinking of taking admission in BDS. I have been to Guardian College of Dental Sciences & Research Centre, Chikholi, Ambernath (W). They told me they would take 4 lakhs as donation and if five years fees if i pay together, they will give me some relaxation in donation. I had planned to take admission there, but then i went around college building, to my surprise even the toilets are not ready. Surrounding of college is such that if something happens, no one will know about it for days together. Then i decided to contact MUHS Nashik to know the status of affiliation, i got reply from there that the affiliation process is still on. The college is not yet affiliated.
My concern is if the college does not get affiliation and whatever students have taken admission there till now, who will be responsible for loss of their one precious year and money?
Is there any body that governs admissions to such colleges? Or these people just can play with life of students?
