I had bought a hp pavilion special edition laptop serial no 2CE8130SY5 from USA a year ago. recently i faced hardware problems in my laptop. the customer care said that my laptop wasn't covered under international warranty i would have to buy that. So i bought a international warranty from the hp website n got my laptop registered for international warranty after paying 190$. now the customer care says that they do not support my laptop model in India n they cannot manage its replacement parts in India, while the USA customer care says that Indian counterpart of hp must honor that warranty.
my question is how could hp offer international warranty when their indian counterpart are not ready to honor the warranty. also the authorized dealer is ready to repair my laptop if i pay for the spare parts. if the shop can manage spare parts why cannot hp manage it? after all its their headache as to where to manage the parts from.
