Charges accrued for depositing Amount by third Paty in some other branch

My sisiter Deposited Cash in my account in HDFC Bank (Chembur Branch). Due to this HDFC Bank charged a fees @ 30% interest rate on the amount deposited. They told that the same rule is existing from last Three Years. Due to this my EMI got bounced and i suffered further loss due to Penalty charged by Bank.

My Account Details are as under:-

Account type: Salary account

Bank: HDFC

Branch: Nerul

A/c no: 02518050006725.

Please let me know whether the same is justified as per the Banking Regulations conformed by RBI.
