I have HDFC credit card which I swept on 17th Sep 09 and called to customer care in the same day within 48 hours as per the rule to convert EMI. Customer care executive told that amount (9200) is not credited by the party so call later. I had called again on 23 sep after getting the confirmation that the amount is credited from my account. The customer care executive confirmed that my EMI will be apprx. 1700 and request to take a loan against credit card. I refused this request. Again after two days i received a call from HDFC for loan and I said no I do not want any loan, please convert to EMI as requested. But my request for EMI was ignored and a loan amount was transfered in my account. Besides this I have not received any information that my salaried account has been converted into saving account. Due to this only 8300 has been transferred into account and HDFC hide this information. I wrote the mail to customer care but did not receive any satisfactory reply. I went to my branch but branch manager also unable to satisfactory reply. Again, I called to HDFC headquarter (Chennai) but do not receive any solution. I have detailed proof of phone bills and recording of calls. I really mentally upset due to this issue. Please suggest proper solution.
