I was renewating my home for that sake i was in need of some home finance. The subjected property is owned by my father. When i applied for home loan in HDFC home finance, they were ready to provide me the same that too on my name. I was supposed to be the loan account holder. They asked me for some legal affidavates which will prove that i am the only son of my father and my father has no issues for taking any home finance on this property.
When i submitted all the required documents, i got the loan sanction letter where the loan was sanctioned on my name (though i dont own the property). The processing fee's cheque was also got debitated from my account.
Few days later, HDFC executives asked me to apply as a coapplicant and my father will be considered as main applicant. The remaining process and required documents will the same (which was submitted earlier). I didnt get any payment from the back so i asked for it again.
No reply for 3 days. Again these guys said your name should not be there in the loan application at all cause this property doesnt have my name on it. My father will get loan that too the half of the amount which was sanctioned. They mentioned the reason that HDFC doesnt provide home loan to the people who dont have property on their name. (i dont know how they come to know about such a major fact after sanctioning loan. At last i cancelled the plan of taking home loan from HDFC bank. I was really frustrated with the answers what the so called HDFC executive gave me.
I dont understand at very first time when i applied for home loan how these guys approved the loan when i was not owning th property. I do have the loan sanction letter with me. Please provide the solution how to get along with this. I really want to bring this issue in front.
