Subject: Full & Final settlement of Credit Card no: 4346771002299486

And holding my Company’s Salary of Rs 20, 000/- illegally inspite of making the full & final payment for the HDFC credit card.

Dear Sir,

My name is Abhinav Tiku R/o of 341-A Pocket-2 Mayur Vihar Phase-1 New Delhi 91 since past 26 years. Sir back in 2003 I was been issued a HDFC

Silver card, which had a credit limit of Rs 25, 000/- from the HDFC Bank.

After using the card for atleast 2 years I finally decided to cancel the card in 2005 seeing my increasing expenses. I owed Rs 25, 000 to HDFC for which I did a Full & Final settlement of Rs 22, 777/-.

I Issued them with 5 cheques which were credited to the account of HDFC bank through Punjab National Bank. The Amount paid was upto the tune of Rs 22, 200/- (Rupees Twenty Two Thousand Two hundred only).

There Employee (Collection Agent) named Mr. Sandeep who used to collect the Cheque wrote on the Receipt bearing no.1524714 that I have received Full & Final payment of your credit card no: 4346771002299486.

.

Sir I have got all Documentary proof, which I can produce before you. A copy of which I have sent to Shri Dr Duvvuri Subbarao (RBI Governer) & Honable Finance Minister Shri P. Chidambaram Govt.of India to take strict actions against HDFC Bank Ltd India for harassing a Loyal HDFC customer & stopping

his salary illegally. According to the new Reserve Bank of India policies & Guidelines, which come under The Banking Ombudsman Scheme, Private banks or even Nationalized banks are not supposed to Threaten or Harass by making phone calls, sending Collection Agents to collect money or illegally detain customer salary for a credit card payment.

The HDFC bank wrote to me in a letter dated 11th of March that they have cancelled my credit card & the same must be destroyed which was in my possession at that time.

They have even tried to take some amounts previously from my Salary account back in 07 in tune of Rs 4 to 5 thousand. In total they have taken almost more than Rs 30, 000/- from me in total after taking small amounts from my salary account since past 6 years which is even more than the settled amount & is illegal without informing the customer & taking his daily salary money illegally.

Infact I should file a Lawsuit against HDFC Bank in the Consumer Court for illegally holding my salary & taking small amounts from my salary account each year till now.

In the end, I would like to draw your attention to kindly give Instruction to HDFC Bank to stop this Mental Anguish & Harassment which has been going since past 6 years & has been giving me sleepless nights & mental tension inspite of it being no fault of mine. Please tell HDFC to release my Rs 20, 000/- worth of salary which has been illegally detained by HDFC Bank Ltd. & close this HCL corporate salary A/C no: 00881140042416.

Hope you will oblige me & save me & my family from starvation by releasing this amount.

Thanks & Regards

Your’s Faithfully,

Mr. Abhinav Tiku
