Refund my 1500 immediately. Today I visited your Maninagar office again. They said on 5th Jan they did escalate the issue and was informed by the Mumbai office that they would not be any further ECS deductions from my acccount. They had no clue why the ECS went through. I need my hard-earned money back and also make sure that no ECS fuck happens on my account. I my problems are not resolved immediately, I will approach the Consumer redressal forum and Ombudsman.

I did submit the Original Policy certificate and an application form to surrender my policy on your Maninagar (Ahmedabad) on 1st of this month. He did assure me that there would not be any deductions from my account any more. I again visited the office after two days to re-confirm it. He assured me again. But you assholes took out 1500 from my account on 16/01. Refund my money immediately. If you do not refund my hard-earned money, I will circulate phamplets all over Ahmedabad detailing cheating saga. It started with your agent misguiding me. You people are too smart. You have denied me access to the agent's details on the website. It does not count much. Keep in mind one thing. A person (however weak he may be) can tarnish your so-called corporate image. I warn you again in this game HDFC Insurance would be the ultimate looser.

Thanks for your email. ULIPS are scam. Please terminate the policy. I do not want to surrender the policy. Just terminate the policy with immediate effect. I made a Himalayan mistake by taking ULIPS.

With regard to your email, we regret to inform you that the policy cannot be surrendered before 3 years. The total term of your policy is 16 years and the "lock in" period is 3 years. If the premium is not paid for 3 years, policy will become lapsed. Under lapsed condition, all units will be deallocated, fund value less surrender will be held with us and will not be paid out to the policy holder.

Further the direct debit facility is mandatory for monthly mode of premium payment and the same cannot be deactivated.
