Dear Sir,
I am covered for health Insurance by the United India Insurance co. Ltd. in Banalore and you are the assigned TPA. I live in Chennai presently and I submitted an insurance claim on 24th April at your Chennai office for my wife Gita sampth kumsran who is also a member (Enrollment No: BLR-UI-CA01-000-0000057-B) of the same policy. When I contacted the chennai office after 4 weeks of waiting, I was told that my documents are processed at Bangalore office and some shortfall on the documents was noticed eventhough I had submitteda all the dcuments requied for the processing as verified by your Chennai office. As I did not receive any written query for a week I called up[the Bangalore office for the status and I was told the same story of shortfall of dcuments such as copies of my previous year membership from inception of the Insurance Policy and a letter of clarification on the health condition of the patient from the treating doctor. These queries are irrelevent as you must have all the information regading my membership details since inception and You can't expect me to keep expired policy documents. Also if you raise any medical queries on the discharge summary provided by the treating doctor, you may get the same directly from him as the details of the hospital and the doctors have been furnished by me. In fact I was orally informed of these 'shortfalls' when I called up your Bangalore office. I have nothing in writing to approach the treating doctor even if I need to. I feel that the real intention of the persons who do the processing of the claim is to stall settlement by some means. Please help me.
