Well what to tell about Metro Motors... its a total disappointing experience starting from visiting the showroom till receiving the RTO documents and servicing the vehicle.
starting from visiting the showroom: when i entered the showroom there was no one to attend me on receptionist desk and when i asked where the receptionist has gone the reply was like "what you want from the receptionist? forget it and ask what you want to ask? " its a simple answer but the tone of the answer was harassing one.
while getting information about the vehicle, the sales man who was wearing a t-shirt and jeans used to roam around and let me roam around from one desk to another for things like pricelist, calculator, etc. and when i asked for brochure, the salesman told me that it is over there, if you want then take it from that bunch of brochures.
when everything is done and the loan has been passed, the salesman told me to sign on necessary document and take the delivery of the said vehicle.
as a lower middle class person and its the first bike in my home, i went with my family and friends to the showroom. the salesman then put off the insurance paper in front of me to sign on it for which he had not mentioned me earlier and when i refused to sign on it, he told me that i can not give you the vehicle unless and until you sign on insurance papers and i went home disappointed with feeling of shy in front of my family members and friends.are they feel that they are bin laden and whatever they say we are bound to do so???
After two hours of this said event, the salesman told me that you can get your bike without signing on insurance papers. if he can do it so then why i was forced by him to go home which is 10 kilometers away from the showroom???
well i was not at all to buy the bike but my friends forced me to buy anyway and forget what has happened and then i went to take the delivery of bike on 4/1.
while taking delivery, no one was there to solve my queries regarding servicing of vehicle and taking care of my bike.
when i gave the dealer the passport of my friend and asked for the gift i.e. Parker Pen, the dealer said that the scheme is over and you won't get parker pen... just get this battery instead. well, they had pen in the showroom but they were refusing to give it to me... i had to fight with them to get the pen and meanwhile one of the person in showroom told me that the pen is too old and will not run properly then what is the benefit of the pen?
is hero honda providing poor quality gifts to the customers???
well, after having all these troubles and harassment one more trouble was remaining for me and that is for getting RTO book from the dealership.
when i went for first free service of my bike on 4/2, i asked the dealer for the R C Book and he replied that i will call u as soon as i get it.
till 12/3 i didn't get any call from the dealership and then i called them asking for my
R C Book. They told me that it is there at dealership since 7/2...
i asked them why i was not even get a phone call for the R C Book they replied that it is the customers' responsibility to get it and not ours, we are not responsible for your documents or anything if you want it then it is your duty to call us and ask for that.
if this is the situation for buying a vehicle at hero honda dealership then i shame on my self why i didn't go for Honda instead.
