Hi friends,
This is to address the pathetic road condition from MFL Junction to Minjur and a notice to concern officers who are responsible for the improvement of these roads in North Chennai. It takes about more than 2 hours to cover 15 Kms from/to both sides.
The four lane projects were announced by the government two years back till date no improvements were witnessed. During this season the people living in the area were left with death holes on road (Pot holes is been transformed to death holes). No steps is been taken to control the heavy vehicle traffic or to repair the road. Daily, the people traveling in that road can witness accidents & break down vehicle which makes the traffic still for many hours. The situation is very painful especially for ladies and senior citizens who have to face a lot of hardship right from the time they board any vehicle for transportation on both sides. The people living there were having a harrowing time.
The Government should take quick steps to do patch work on this roads; it should act speedily to set this right too.
Right from MFL Junction to Minjur; we can find the warehouses in both sides of the road which is the root cause for the heavy container movement in that miserable road condition and it is still increasing day by day.
So, I kindly request the concerned officers to act fast to improve the situation and end the hardship being faced by the citizens.
