On 8.07.09, I purchased from a local shop (Need, Golf Green, Kolkata) New Champion White Oats (500gm jar) manufactured by Hindustan Vegetable Oils Corporation Ltd.(address: 64-65 Satguru Ram Singh Marg, Kirti Nagar Industial Area. New Delhi-110015). It was mentioned on the jar" Best before 12 months from packing". Since the packing date was mentioned as February I purchased the item. The batch no. was mentioned as " NOVO".
However, I found that the oats had bitter taste and hence inedible. Thus it was a total waste.
On 10.07.09, I wrote a registered letter A.D to the Chairman of the company informing him of the matter. Till date I have received no response.
