My car was insured by Cholamandalam DBS iin the year 10 and this year even after repeated requests they have not insured it till date by saying that my car is more than 10 year old.
I have contacted them one month before expiry and they told me initially that they will renew the insurance. After that they kept on telling me that they will send some one or other and passed the time till the expirty date. After that they are not even responding to my calls. If Chola was not ready to insure the car they should have told me in the first place at least one month before expirty so that i could have searched for some other insurer though i do not understand why chola is not ready to insure cars more than 10 years old for which they have been giving insurance. Secondly they have kept me assuring that they will send someone till the expirty date has passed. And after that they are not responding to my calls. The Karolbagh office gave me false asurance and the name of the lady was Ms. Renu and the number is 39813114 .
