ONGOING ISSUES WITH HITACHI SPLIT AC

Hi,

I bought a Hitachi Spit AC (Iota 1.5 T - 19HND) on 23 Aug 08 from Chroma. Since the day of installation there has not been a month the service engineer has not visited us. Firstly the 2 circuits in this AC were changed 4-5 times. Eventually when we approached the Service Head - Harpreet Singh; he took us on conference with the owner of the service station & finally got a major part changed. Now this season as soon as we switched on the AC; water started dripping from the AC inside our room. Again a formal complaint was lodged & an engineer visited us after 2 days & placed some foam on the top of the AC stating that the fan was sucking in the water & the issue would be resolved now. However as usual the water started dripping inside our room after exactly 2 days of this visit. We lodged a complaint again & an engineer visited us & per him the resolution provided to us was not correct & the problem is with the installation of AC & there would someone visiting us to reintall the AC.

The matter was escalated again to Harpreet Singh & I am sending him emails for the last 3 days with no response.

My suggestion to anyone who reads this note is "GO FOR ANY BRAND EXCEPT HITACHI" "BAD PRODUCT; WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE & WORST GRIEVANCE MANAGEMENT"
