I Dr. Indranil Banerjee had bought a Honda EXK 2800S portable generator bearing frame No. C0801976 and Engine No. GK3W-9235109 on the 26th of April from Sur Automobiles, Chandannagar. From the onset, there was a problem with the battery and I was informed by the dealer that the concerned manufacturer ie. Exide Industries has to take care of it. The then manager of Sur Automobiles took responsibility and gave me a replacement of the battery which appeared to be a defective one. Then everybody washed their hands regarding the same. I had paid Rs.7000/- extra for the self start model to facilitate faster starting during my clinics, which seems to have been a waste because requests for rectifying that has fallen to deaf ears. Of late the circuit breaker switch is malfunctioning ie. the switch is tripping irrespective of the load given. I had a talk with Mr. Subhasish from Honda and had a conference talk with the owner of Sur Automobiles regarding rectification of the problem 2 weeks back. Since then no one has reported to my clinic even after subsequent requests to do so over the phone and personal visit to the showroom and during this time of the year when we are plagued with heavy powercuts, tripping during clinical procedures every now and then is extremely annoying to me and my patients. I would request for a strict action from your side to do away with this recurring miseries from Sur Automobiles at the earliest.
