I had bought a HP dv6000 notebook in 2006 from Dubai. I used it for a couple of months perfectly well after which the system started to show problems. Initially there was a problem with the key board as the keys were falling then the system started to beep and shut dwna s i switched the system on. On contacting the sevice centre in Visakhapatnam, they told me that sinc eit wa sbought abroad they cannot help and have made me run around for more than 2 years now.
They said tehy could repair teh same if i paid them Rs.20, 000 fo rthe spare parts when in warranty.
After which i had registered a complaint online basing on which the people from service centre call up, take details and tehn the issue is closed. WHen i dont get repsons efrom the local centre i was mailing Hp, they use to again take teh details and teh issue was closed.
Today finally i spoke to the AP Head of HP Mr, Satish who said he will not be able to rectify the repair.
After 2 long years of running around and mental torture now this is what HP delivers. HP i feel doesent stand on its promises or give customer support.
Hope HP tries to respond in a positive manner.
