I Ravi Sonwane, purchased a HP Compaq Laptop Model no - CQ45-137TX Serial number CND8293BQD on 10th January from BABA Computers Camp, Pune however the AC Adapter of this Laptop stopped working on Saturday 31st Jan so i visited HP service center SIMTECH COMPUTRONICS (P) LTD located at Kothrud on 2nd Feb where so called engineer checked the Laptop and informed that the Part will be available in Minimum 3 days and i was given case number 2605548650 and Token number as 10905. So as per the engineer's Statement i called on the 3rd day i.e 05/Feb at 12.30pm and i was informed on call that the Parts arrive at the service center after 1.30 pm and if the part comes i will be updated, i did not receive any update on that day. I called at 2.00pm on 6th Feb and the receptionist informed me that the part is unavailable and whenever it is available i will get it. Is this called a good after sales service??? Its not more then a month also and parts of this laptop are turning defective!!! I am unable to use this Laptop from last Monday!!! i purchased it as i needed it for my work, but now it is of no use!!! I can understand that it is a thing and can go bad, however i cant understand that why cant i get this Part??? I spoke with a person at the service center who said that he is a Team Leader over there and said that there is Shortage of Adapters all over India, so does that means that HP has stopped manufacturing AC Adapters for this Laptops. I already own a laptop from HP and this is my second laptop from the same brand, however this aftersales service has put me off from buying HP Products. One more question on mine is IF HP CANNOT GIVE AFTERSALES SERVICE WHY IS HP SELLING THIS PRODUCT IN MARKET???
