I bought an orignal HP power adaptor 18.5V from an authorised hp/compaq shop in laxmi nagar.

The dealer not only sold me the local cheap substitute but also gave me only half part of it. plug to adaptor cable was missing and the product was lying loose. on beng asked he said thats how they come from the company. on top of it he gave me an orignal bill of the shop amounting to rs. 1600/-
i am truly shocked and sorry for the kind of dealers hp/compaq has hired. Their credentials are not checked and also, what they are doing with the customers is also not concerning the company. A dealer is the face of a company in the market. If a dealer is cheating customers in the market it is cheating done by the company aswell, because we are ot suppose to put a check. Its the duty of the company to see what its dealers are promising and delivering.
I was the firstperson to vouch for hp/compaq customer support and services but now i am completely taken aback. If a company of such stature is not able to provide people with genuine support and charging them orignal prices for fake stuff it shuld be taken to court for cheating and fraudulent practices.
I would like to inform innocent customers to kindly buy good products from a reputed company which actually provdes a genuine customer support. and orignal accessories. now a days Dell, Hcl, ibm and Acer are proving much better.this dealer must be doing the same with god knows how many innocent people. Atleast what happened with me should not happen to others.
