I had purchased 5 Compaq Presario 17" series. Due to its over weight, the screen get damaged. A scar appeared at the middle of the screen and slowly it spreads throughout the screen. HP will consider it as a physical damage and it will not be considered under warranty. This is a very serious issue and it is really costly to replace the display. I had contacted HP many times being a corporate customer. Still I didn't get good response from there end.
I am the Vice President of a company and I had already purchased the same laptop in bulk quantities. I really wonder what will be the case of individuals who purchase it, if a corporate company is facing lack of response from their end.
I had contacted them through their complaint registration forum in which they offered to contact back immediately. It is about 1 month, still I didn't get any response from their end.
