EXTREMLY POOR SERVICE AND NO CARE ATTITUDE

Dear Friends,

Wonder if this Forum will be able to assist in solving my complaint as well take the manufacturer to task for the DAMN CARE ATTITUDE. Details of the complain since 15-04 which still remains unsolved for a machine under warranty is as under:

CASE NO 2607066128 FOR DX 2700 S MACHINE NO INI70201SZ

1) The machine was purchased on 12-06 with a on site warranty of 3 years.

2) We faced no problem for over a year and we could write the CD’s and play DVD’S etc.

3) Complaint under case no 2603862204 was lodged on 03-11 as the DVD tray was not ejecting.

4) This was attended by Digitech Services Pvt Ltd on 10-11 and the part was replaced.

5) It was our mistake that we did not check immediately, wether the part is correct or CD’s are being written etc. we presumed that since the new part has been replaced it must be fine.

6) For quite some time now we found that we could not write any CD’s, but for some reason or the other did not lodge any complaint.

7) When we also started facing the Fan noise, we lodged the complaint under ref 2607066128 on 15-04 and informed about both the problems.

8) It was attended on 17-04, and again the part was replaced without checking what was wrong. This time we tried to write the CD’s in the presence of service rep and it did not happen. He asked us to delete roxio and all other software for writing CD’s. Still nothing happened. He then gave up and said that some one else will come tomorrow (18th of April)

9) No one came till 22nd and perhaps only after further complaint and emails engineers from RT Outsourcing Services attended the same and they said that the machine has a reader only (DVD ROM) and not writer and would get back after checking the case. It was presumed that the earlier replacement by Digitech was wrongly done and again by the person on 17th April (no details as no report was given).

10) It is the 5th of May today and insoite of numerous calls and emails no action has been taken.

11) There is no system on their website for a consumer to escalate the issue to the senior bosses.

12) It is like being a helpless consumer.

13) Would request consumers to seriously consider the options before buying machines from HP.
