Hp pavilion dv9000
Windows recovery not working

I have purchased hp pavilion dv 9000 laptop with windows vista ultimate... which later i replaced by window xp sp2.

now i again wanted to recover my laptop with window vista ultimate but this recovery CD of vista ultimate is not working.
