Hyundai Verna CRDI-ABS White
Non delivery of the vehicle

I booked a Hyundai Verna CRDI-ABS White on 24-10 with Suhrit Hyundai, Gulmohar Community Centre, New Delhi. They promised me a delivery in 21 days. On 12-11, I was informed by Mr. Ashish (Sales Exec-Suhrit Hyundai) that the Car had been dispatched from Chennai on 11-11 and a delivery in 21 days won’t be possible. I contacted them again on 19-11, only to be told that there was no information about the delivery of the car and they could not confirm, by what time the delivery of the car would be feasible. One person, from Hyundai Sales in Delhi, Vikas Saxena-9999111483, had also confirmed me on 11-11 that the car had been loaded onto a truck and I could have the number of the truck. I refused to take the number of the truck, saying that my job was not to follow or track that delivery from Chennai. I only wanted my car to be delivered in time. Even today, they are not able to confirm, when the delivery of the car will will take place. Their sales people are telling that I can't get a car from Suhrit, as they have bad payment problems with Hyundai. Why a customer is being subjected to harassment in the tussle between Hyundai and its dealer?

In the meantime, Mr. Vikas Saxena advised me to change my booking from that dealer to some other dealer, which the other dealer confirmed that the delivery would take another 25 days, in this case, the dealer was HMP. I told them that I waited 25 days already to get this car, now I cancel this booking, book the car with some other dealer and wait for 25 more days. 50 days for a car to be delivered in India, I asked them, was I going for a Rolls Royce or Beantly customization, or I had ordered something which Hyundai does not produce. If they do not produce, they should not print brochures for it.

Nobody has valid and convincing answers, no one commits any delivery schedule, at one time, now I am not sure, when I will get a car. I waited for almost a month and sold my old car, only to waste money and facing hardships while traveling and searching for Auto-rickshaws. Is it a fair business practice and proper care of a customer who has paid money to book a car. Shall these kind of dealers ever understand, that they should be made to pay for causing inconvenience and hardships to customer.
