Deficit in the amount withdrawn from the ATM‏

This is in regards with the deficit amount withdrawn from the ATM at Andheri Shopper Stop.

I had withdrawn Rs 1500/- on the 16th of Dec and received only Rs 600/- instead of 1500/-

I waited at the ATM for 5mins but didn’t receive any cash hence submitted a written complain at the Andheri Shopper Stop branch as well as with the customer care.

The request number from the customer care is SR89737310. I did receive a response from the customer care saying that they are unable to reverse the transaction as it has already paid which is not the case.

Even after submitting the written application I get a response on the 6th of Jan 09 that it is not possible to reverse the transaction (that too when I visit the branch personally). I believe the TAT is 24hrs and not 22 days.

I also met the Branch Manager of Andheri Shopper stop asking her to intervene. I requested her to show the CCTV recording but she bluntly denied saying how is it going to help me even if I see the video. She also told me that it’s a technology problem and we cant reverse the transaction.

Till date i have been following up but there has been no response from the bank. they have to say that the money is already paid to me which is incorrect.
