CHARGES FOR NOT USING SERVICE

I have an 0 balance DEMAT account with ICICI BANK from the last 19 months. But when 2 days ago i checked my statement online i was shocked to see the deduction of rs. 960/-. So the next day i went to KALYAN branch from where my account had been opened. There i got to know that they has been charging the minimum account to everyone who had not used the DEMAT services.

It was acceptable that they were charging the amount to the customer who are not using the services but they should had been informed earlier before deduction they had not even send a formal notice to me. They accepted there mistake that we had not informed to our customer, But they cant do anything now.

I had opened my DEMAT account only bcoz i wanted a 0 balance account in ICICI as i m not been able to maintain the minimum balance which they charge.

And now my account shows a negative balance, Plz tell me what should i do now. If they had informed that earlier that from next month or so they will charge for not using DEMAT services then i should had been closed my account at the earliest. Now if they want they can close my account but i will not pay the remaining negative balance and want my remaining amount back.

Plz help me out of these WHITE CALLER cheaters
