HI, This is Harpreet kaur from noida. i hv a saving account with ICICI Bank Noida sec-18 . At the time of opening of my account none of the executive told me abt maintinting quaterly balance of 5000.I use to get monthly statement but tht too only for 5-6 months initially. So i got first shock when 1600/- Rs were debited from my account. It was long back ard 6 months i guess. moreover i was not getting my monthly statement as well during tht period. I came to know abt debit by ICICI when i got quarterly statement. So i talked to ICICI customer care to revert back the charges hence ard Rs 825/- was refunded back to my account. I made my balnace more than 5000 to avoid tht penalty in future. but now again although the balance in my account on 1-july-07 is Rs 5114/- a penalty of Rs 843/- has been imposed, Which is totally wrong.

My complaint is tht the bank mislead the customers firstly by not telling the terma n conditions at the time of opening an account and then by misleading through customer care.

when i had a word with customer care first time abt the penality, he has told me tht there should be minimum of 5000 rs balance in my account at the end of every month.

BUT TO MY SHOCK ITS JUST METHOD TO FOOL THE CUSTOMERS.

i hv lost 3200 /- till now.

I have written to the bank but they said they cant do anything giving me their explanation of Quaterly annual balance.

At the end i really don know where to go n ask for justice. Banks are fooling their customers and they should be punished for that.

i will be highly thankful if anyone can help me.
