Non Payment of Utility bills by ICICI credit card

Dear Sir,

I have been a loyal customer of ICICI Bank credit card since last 5 to 6 years. Over these years I have not defaulted on the payment. Not only credit cars I am also a loyal customer of ICICIs other arms like ICICI - Lombard.(since last 3 years) I have enrolled for the payment of utility bills through ICICI credit card.

Now, since last month I have been receiving SMSs from your credit card dept, informing their inability to pay the bills due to insufficient credit limit. I am informed about it, just 2 days before the due date, forcing me to pay the bill by cash, as cheque won't be credited in the account of utility supplier or else, I will have to pay late charges.

I do not understand why professional people like ICICI Bank, enhance the credit limit of a customer, on their own, looking into his growing needs and his track record. My credit limit is meagre Rs.15000 since the begining.(about 5 to 6 years). Over the years income has grown as well as the costs and the spending has also increased.

In view of the above I hereby request ICICI credit card department to increase my credit limit suitably.
