On 10th June, Rs 8649.45 had been auto debited from my account against the credit card number 9401270187871004 without my knowledge. This card is not pertaining to me. Immedietly on 10th June I lodged compliant on customer care through phone banking and enquired the details. The customer care department asked to call on 11th for further details. When i enquired on 11th june they have not responded and disconnected the phone ruthlessly. Then I straight away went to my ICICI bank branch (Mission street, Pondicherry) and gave a written complaint for details. After I lodged the complaint, they have communicated that we will receive a complaint number through sms on 11th evening. I had waited upto 12th June afternoon but no complaint number received. Then again I went directly to the bank and enquired for the details. There was no response and the treatment was very bad. Again we gave second complint letter and the communication from bank office is " THAT CARD IS IN YOUR NAME ONLY WE DON'T KNOW ANYTHING AND WE DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO AND YOU HAVE TO CONTACT CREDIT CARD DEPARTMENT. "
Then I went to credit card department and came to know that the card is issued on the month of May’09 through blue dart courier. I asked for the details of POD number of the courier and my proof which I given for the card received. But no proof has been shown to me. And the treatment from the bank is also not be good. thay replayed that it is not updated in system.
