I had my two debit cards for same ICICI bank account, branch Sonipat. One with grid security and another one without grid security.
On 02 March I lost my debit which was “without grid security”. I came to know about my lost card at 5.30 pm on 02 March. I called to customer care at 5.30 pm and spoke to customer care executive Mr. Deepak. He assured me that lost card will not work and no need to block.
Debit card which is with me, with grid security, will only work. I also lodged a complaint regarding this wrong information by customer care executive. Complaint ID is SR 58215563
Unauthorized people used my debit card in various shops and did shopping of Rs. 8290/-.
Due to ICICI bank system, I did not receive information of these transactions by SMS on 02 March (Sunday). I received all messages on 03 March at 07.30 am. At same time, I called customer care of ICICI bank and blocked that card.
I also send many mails regarding this accident but unfortunately I didn’t receive any reply till now (25 March).
