ICICI Bank had updated wrong mobile number (9824091248) against my savings bank account no. 005101005386.
I came to know about this when ICICIBANK responded that they tried to contact me on that number which was never given by me to ICICIBANK.
I am sure ICICIBANK must have passed on my account details to the other individual holding the mobile no. 9824091248.
I treat this as a violation of my rights and requested ICICIBANK to rectify the mistake.
ICICIBANK instead asked me to contact call-centre and put me to all troubles and did not respond in proper way.
when I threatened to take legal action, they took the complaint with service request no SR87455686 and their executive Ms. ARUNA called me up from MOTIKHAVDI branch.
She rectified the mobile number but she was not willing to issue me a REGRET / APOLOGY letter from ICICIANK.
She was acknowledging mistake from ICICIBANK side with argument that this wrong updation was done by a employee who has left ICICIBANK and this is a Human error.
I want ICICI to issue me a regret and apology letter and give me assurance that no confidential information related to my account transactions have been passed out.
Also pl. let me know if I can press for financial damages??
