I am your customer having my salary account at ICICI Bank since last 3 years, I have taken Home loan, Car Loan through ICICI Bank inspite of plenty of options available for easy, low interest rates in other banks. I have opted for my strong belief that ICICIBank is the only professional bank fulfilling the requirement of customer like me. Now i am feeling ICICIBank is just a banking system with only mandate of harrassing the customers in every possible way.
As i said i had taken car loan in ICICIBank, remitted loan EMI amount regularly. During last year on 3rd Nov after discussing the net pending loan amount with your ICICI Bank executive i had paid Rs 1 Lakh towards car loan amount; Also i received a ICICI Bank receipt - no 3712036. This payment was done in consultation after proper understanding that Rs 1 lakh payment will get adjusted with my principal O/S amount. I am not told about any type of fore closure form available that needs to be applied first prior to paying additional EMI amount
At that time ICICI Bank didnt tell me that i cannot pay more than specified EMI amount, or say EMI amount cannot be closed prematurally. Now after one year when i went to ICICI Bank to see my pending O/S amount i was shocked to see that Rs 1 Lac is not adjusted with principal amount instead it is kept idle as 'Refunds'. When i insisted for converting refunds amount into principal O/S amount as of date 3rd Nov 08 nothing is done at the bank. Thus i am at net loss of Rs15, 000=00 (Int-15%), which i would have earned by investing some where else.
Now when i am insisting for conversion of Rs 1 lakh into principal O/S amount as of date 3-11-08, ICICI Bank refusing to do, instead offering me my payment of Rs 1 Lakh for withdrawal. Doesnt it a ridiculous to receive my own payment done last year without any interest amount.? Does not ICICIBank charges me interest amount of 15%.?
I am really frustrated due to carelessness of your staff at ICICI bank Gulbarga (Court road / NVCollege Branch) Karnataka.

Actually we were in a process of applying one more home loan at pune, but after going through these ordials could you expect me to ever approach ICICIBank?
Me and my family have decided hence forth will close my salaried account too with ICICI Bank in absence of your favourable action on this issue.
