I am the existing customer of ICICI bank home lone. My loan account no is LBMUM00001576268. I have applied for 7 lac home loan. And same have been sanctioned. The EMI was decided 7708. When the final amount of loan is disburse, the amount was 7, 23, 100 out of which is Rs. 23100 is been paid to ICICI Lombard Company, Through cheque No. 845412 for the Home Lone policy premium. It is shocked to me the without my information and intimation company have taken decision and directly paid the premium through my home loan amount.
The complaint for the above matter was reported to ICICI Home Lone customer care and they have accepted their fault but unable to cancel the policy. I have repeatedly asked the ICICI Lombard to cancel the policy on 17th and 25th Sept. but they refused again giving reason “Technical Problem”. After my hard chasing of matter the insurance company have accepted my request on 9th Oct. and the have canceled the policy and replied me that the amount will be refunded back, but till date no such refund was received.
I again contacted ICICI Lombard for the refund and the answer was very surprising. They told no refund is possible because the policy premiums, which have been paid through the cheque No. 845412 form ICICI Home Loan, is bounced.
I asked the policy company, how they have issued the policy even if the premium amount is not received? They could not give any answer. I also asked for the original proposal form for the policy, Till date they cannot produce it to me. Also ICICI Home Lone Kalyan branch could not able to produce any documents in this regards.
I have requested to both Head of the ICICI Home Loan and ICICI Lombard to clear the issue, but sorry to say that the co-operation and response from both the bank is very poor and I am very depressed about this. Taking into consideration the long term relationships with the bank I really need to clarify the same matter at higher level and want the justice to me.
During all this my EMI is increased from 7708 to 7962, and I have to bear additional load without my mistake.
