This is Ashish Sharma I had applied for an ICICI Credit Card, at that time I got a call from ICICI Lombard department in which they gave me some details of the Insurance Policy. I never needed that policy and now they have forcibly imposed that policy on me by charging it from my Credit card. I never gave any written consent for that policy neither did i signed any document for the same
The way their Customer Support executive explained it nothing was audible and clear at my end. Without even getting a proper response from my side he disconnected the phone. And he never told me that I dont even need to sign a document or read the policy details.
I presumed that atleast the Bank will send some executive or post me some details about the insurance policy and I will sign and give it back if I like it. But nothing like that happened and now they have issued me a policy without even showing me the details of it.
I have received a photocopy of the same policy on thursday (14th-Feb) and at the same time I called their Customer Support to Cancel it as I dont need it, as that was the first time that i had gone through the details of policy and no man with a thinking head will accept that kind of policy.
And now they are saying that If i get it cancelled
They will charge 55% of the amount without even receiving the actual policy.
So sir I feel they are really fleecing the customers by unnecessarily issuing policies without taking any written consent and without giving any details of the same and in a way denying the right of rejecting the policy by charging a hefty amount. So sir I would really appreciate if u can get me out of this all loose sitaution and get this policy cancelled without any more harrasment and financial loss.
