Dear Concerned,
I have filed a complaint stating that my washing machinee is not tumbling on 22nd June (customer complaint no 3166750 dtd 22.06.09). They have registered the complaint and send a service engineer to my residence. After checking the machine thoughroughly, he has told us that the drum need to be changed and since my machine is under AMC from IFB I will be getting the same repalced free of cost within 3 or 4 days. Even after 4 days no one has turned up and we have started chasing them in various phone numbers. On 5th of July I have got an SMS in my mobile stating that my Complaint has been resolved and in case you are not satisfied with thw service please send me an SMS to 58888.Even without resolving my problem how come IFB has closed my complaint (3166750)?
When I spoke to one Mr. Sivagnanam claimed as the Area Manager and he has assured me that the problem will be resolved before Sunday evening and around 5.30 he has sent 2 Service engineers. This time the new service engineer told that there is some cloth stuck inside and there is no problem in the drum at all!! This was quitet a surprise as this is contradictory of the previous examination done by certified IFB service engineer!! He told that my machine is old model and require different set of tools to open hence will come on 6th and resolve the issue. No surprise nobody has turned up for the entire day and on 7th I have again called IFB customer care and given my complaiont no. I have got the reply that that complaint has got closed and we arer openning a new complain dtd 7th Jul Complaint No:- 3227807 dated 07.07.09). Customer care executive has confirmed thqt they will resolve this issue on the same day, without any surprise as usual no one has turned up. Once again we have contacted the customer care and told that we are getting harassed and we are about to file a complaint with consumer forum, how ever even after this no one has turned up. On 8th also nothing has happened and on 9th one official introduced herself as Mano has called me and told that on 9th they will send some one senior on 10th july, then I called Mr. Sivagnanam and exprssed my displeassure and after which in the evenning they have send across 2 service personals to my home. They openned my machine and dismandled all the parts, finally they told that they need to get some special tool to complete the service and assured me that they will come on 10th July morning by 10.00 am and complete the service. When I am typing my mail time is 6.00 PM and no one has turned up and not even a single call we have received so far (In fact I have called 4 times and they have told that by 3.00 pm they will come to my residence)
Now the situation is that My entire machine is dis mandled part by part and it is scattered in my balcony area which is causing lots of dis comfort to me and my family.
Need your support in registering a strong complaint and I would like to go to any extent that in future these kind of suffering will not happen to any of the customers.
I HAVE NEVER SEEN SUCH A POOR SERVICE BY ANY COMPANY .I never recomend this brand to any one. I am looking for a compensation from IFB
