Be careful with this shop. I have visited this shop to order glasses (frames and lens) for my wife. Chosen the frame and asked him to give high index, photochromatic, anti-glare glasses. He told me the cost of this lens is 1800/-. I agreed. Inbetween he called someone and spoke in kannada to someone for the lens. He thought i will not able to kannada because i was speaking in Hindi. Something he was speaking and a point came where he was speaking of 2800/-. While giving the receipt he told me there are two types of lens one is standard which cost 2800/- and other is non-standard which cost 1800/- but there is no difference as it is due to brand name. I decided for non-branded item and paid him Rs 500/- advance. After a week when I visited there for the delivery, seeing the spec I was surprised. The lens he provided was so thick that seems to be normal. we compare with the old specs which have same power and little smaller probably 1mm, they started arguing that it is high index glass. Infact they will check. On 24th June, I visited for the spec for the delivery they said, it is high index and 1.8mm glass, but if you take 1.5 mm glass it will cost you 2800/-. I told this would have been told earlier to me I would have ordered the same. He told me that he will make the new glasses with 1.5 mm thickness. He asked me another 1000/- advance (LUCKILY I DID'NT GAVE) Next week when I visited for the delivery, what he has done he has grinded the edge of the glass and telling me it is a new glass with 1.5mm glass. I told him that the glass is old one only and you have just grinded the edges as it was half frame. I showed him the edges on top where frame body is there and the edges where frame body is not there, how come both the edges thickness is differing. Again in kannada he spoke to his man that he has not made it because it would have been a loss for them.
Now this is the higher end for me. I told them check or show me the old glasses and he told that old glasses are being destroyed. Nice excuse. I denied the order now as they are Cheating the people and giving wrong things to us. I asked for refund and they started shouting at me and as if hey are threatning me that if you want to take this lens pay the rest amount and take it otherwise forget everything, even my 500/- bugs.
Now you tell me what to do with these kind of cheaters. Even I don't know what quality they are making and why government gives license to these people who wanted to play with human organs. If it is damaged will you provide the organs.
