Non-refund of TDS

Hi,

I have filed my IT returns for the year 2008 (AY 09) in the month of Aug. 2008 and I have to get a refund of Rs. 10, 753/- towards the excess TDS. I have complained to the IT Dept. several times by letter as well as through internet, however no response from them.

Since now all the govt. offices have computerised accounting system, the citizens should get the refund within 2-3 months after submission of IT returns. Now after more than a year also there is no response from the IT Dept. Please take up the matter with them and do the needful.
