Hi,

I had given the Pan Card No.letter sent by Office of the Commissioner of Income Tax (Computer Operations) & signed by Mr. Vivek Batra (Deputy Commissioner of Income Tax (PAN)).

Permanent Account Number... ABJPS3675F to Vivek Financial Focus Limited where I have opened my Demat Account but they refused to verify the letter sent by Office of the Commissioner of Income Tax (Computer Operations) & signed by Mr. Vivek Batra (Deputy Commissioner of Income Tax (PAN)) & said they can see my Card only not letter. When I dont have Pan No. in the form of Card but I have letter issued by Office of the Commissioner of Income Tax (Computer Operations) & signed by Mr. Vivek Batra (Deputy Commissioner of Income Tax (PAN)), how I can show that?

I had tried twice for Pan No. in form of Card also but did not receive till now.

I got a letter once from for a discrepancy of D.O.B. as per Application is 02-Jun-1962

And as per ITD..is 02-FEB-1962 but when i go to there website..

http://www.incometaxindia.gov.in/

& click Know your pan, they show me the same D.O.B as in my Application!
