Missing Name in Voter List

Dear Sir,

I have a voter ID card No. JSJ1091818 issued by the Election Commission of India. During the last Elections, this card was used for voting purposes.

To my utmost surprise/shock I was not allowed to vote this time the reason being conveyed to me was that my name does not appear on the Voting List. I shall be grateful if I am conveyed the reason before I proceed further in the matter.
