Gas transfer- dealer demanding fresh address proof

As I have been transfered to gorakhpur, I formally transfered my gas connection (Indane) to gorakhpur by depositing the cylinder and regulator. on 22nd august I deposited two copies of transfer receipt at Mahendra gas service Gas, Mohaddipur, gorakhpur.not replying. Dealer is DEMANDING FOR FRESH ADDRESS PROOF and i have not so foras i am living in rented house.
