Getting a Gas cylinder from the KANGAYAN GAS AGENCY, in Vellore, is next to impossible. They have 2 listed phone numbers which are either never picked up or are constantly 'engaged". Ultimately to book your cylinder one has to go to the agency office! If you visit the office no one is ever on the phone!
It takes more than 3-4 weeks for delivery of a cylinder-well accepted the "lorry strike", but excuses such as "festival time' and so no cylinder leave you wondering!
Please could you use the offices of your Forum to suggest to the IOC/Indane to have Online booking and to have a tracking mechanism to know when your next cylinder would come!
