Indian Railways
A hell called Krishanaraja Puram Railway station Bangalore

Dear Sir,

At the outset I would like to highlight the most important defects at this railway station.

I have been commuting from this railways station since two years. There are thousands of other passengers who also arrive and depart from this station everyday. With almost 150 trains arriving and departing everyday, this is one of the most busiest railways station in Bangalore.

Being the busiest I had witnessed:

Dirt and Bad Smell:

As many passengers arrive and depart and being busier this place is primarily dirty. I believe least care is taken to clean the premises. As a result round the clock foul odour emantes to platforms causing passengers to extreme discomfort. Sometimes the stroung foul odour is unbearable. Traveling to distance places with family and children and sittings in these surroundings puts us at the risk of diseases. I WOULD HUMBLY URGE to commision workers round the clock to keep the premises clean.

No Policing:

Being a busiest place, this place is highly prone thefts, robberies and breeding grounds for prostitution, drunkard, beggars and storming Autorickshawalas into the railway station demanding exorbitant prices. Believe it or not, all the before mentioned elements have already flourished at the railway station. Its extremely painful to travel to the railway fight against these elements and catch a train. I WOULD COMMEND IF ROUND THE POLICING WITH ADEQUATE number of police professionsals exist to control law and order.

Citizen services:

None of the information systems such as coach postion indicators, drinking water, dustbin cleaning are available on this railway station. Toilets are being managed a private users demanding exorbitant prices. There is no way for a disabled person to arrive/to depart platform #2 and Platform #3 being used. A provision to have battery operated cars or lift system would enourmously reduce the passenger stress.

In Short, Krishnarajapuram railway station is extremely poorly managed "equal to Hell" though potentially generates huge revenues.
