Subject: Complaint against problem faced during travel in Jammu tawi express dated 8th November from Jammu tawi to Pune.
Respected Sir,
With due respect we Citizen of India, want to bring to your kind attention about the problem we faced during the journey from Jammu tawi to Pune on 8/10 in Jammu Tawi express.
Following trouble we faced:
We were total of ten persons (2 families, with our old aged parents, wife and children) and along with us there were other families too. We started our journey from Jammu, we sat in a compartment not having any indication thereon that it was a ladies compartment, and neither there was any guard or police man to tell about that. But on Jalandhar railway station, police started harassing us to vacate the compartment being ladies. They separated we people, when we spoke against that they started using abusive language. It was very difficult for us to manage such a situation in the mid way of journey with our old parents and children.
We just want to bring to your notice that how the common man who is not the regular traveler on that route will come to know about that. So, we request you to kindly pay attention on our complaint and take necessary action so that passenger would not face these problems in future.
Your’s truly
Citizens of India
