Non recipt of passport MDU-W142016

Sir,

I applied for passport on 10.06.2009. In the status it has been stated that police verification report is awiated. But local police informed that no document ahs been recived from yoru office for verification so far. I am a central Government employee. It may kindly be calrified whether police verification is required. If so, please take immediate action for issue of passport as i have to proceed to USA during October.
