I had a Piped Natural Gas Connection for Indraprastha Gas Limited with Business Partner no. 4000008707 at Flat No. 106-D, J&K Pocket, Dilshad Garden, Delhi - 110095. Consequent upon selling the house in November I have got the connection terminated. I had applied for refund of the security deposit of Rs. 5000/- after adjusting dues if any, in December. While applying for refund, I had intimated my new address at which the refund was to be sent. After 2-3 months, when I inquired about the refund through their customer care (telephone), I was told that the refund was already sent at my earlier address. I needed to visit their office at R.K. Puram for further quiries. When I visited, I was told to submit a fresh application for refund along with residence proof. Since I was not told to bring residence proof, I was not having it handy. I visited their office again on 29.09.2011 and submitted an applicaton for refund along with proof of my new residence. In the first week of November, contacted their customer care and I was told that refund has been sent. When I asked when this was sent, I was told that customer care people do not have such details. It has been a year since I terminated the connection and almost two months since I applied for refund again but so far nothing has materialised. I would request the authorities to look into the matter and do the needful to refund me the security deposit which is long overdue.
