THE WORKS MANAGER VINOD IRKS

I OWN A WAGON R VXI. I HAD AN ACCIDENT REPAIR AT INDUS MOTORS KOLLAM ON 2008 APRIL. I TOLD THEM TO REPLACE FRONT BUMPER AND FENDER. THEY CHARGED ME FOR BOTH.

AT THE TIME OF DELIVERY OF VEHICLE

I NOTICED THAT MY CAR’S FULL PAINT IS TOTALLY DAMAGED BY OVERSPRAY (SMALL PAINT DROPLETS THAT COME AND STICK ON SURFACE FROM PAINTING OF OTHER VEHICLES OPENLY). I TOLD THEM TO RECTIFY THAT. THEY RUBBED THE SURFACE WHICH WAS FULL OF DUST WITH SOME COMPOUND AND MADE IT FULL OF SCRATCHES.

LATER I FOUND SOME IRREGULARITIES IN THE RIGHT SIDE OF BUMPER. I SHOWED MY CAR TO ANOTHER AUTHORIZED WORKSHOP. HE TOLD ME—

THAT BOTH THE BUMPER AND FENDER ARE NOT NEW. BOTH ARE REFURBISHED.

THE PAINT THAT IS APPLIED IS ”WASTE”(WASTE=THE REMAINING PAINT THAT GETS DRY AFTER APPLYING ON ANOTHER VEHICLE)

THE BUMPER IS PAINTED WITHOUT APPLYING PRIMER OOOPS!!!

I COMPLAINED TO MARUTHI THRU EMAIL.

THE NEXT DAY A PERSON NAMED ANEESH K C(%_ NO 2) CALLED ME . AS PER HIS CALL I WENT TO THE WORKSHOP ON AUG11. SHOWED HIM ALL THESE.

HE PROMISED ME THAT HE WOULD CHANGE THOSE THINGS AND WIL APPLY GOOD QUALITY PAINT AND WILL APPLY TEFLON COAT. THE CUSTOMER CARE MANAGER MANJUSHA (NO-3) CAME THERE AND TOLD ME THAT SHE WOULD TAKE CARE OF THIS AND ASKED ME NOT TO COMPLAIN TO THE COMPANY AGAIN. I AGREED. BUT EVEN AFTER 2 WEEKS, THEY DID NOT CONTACT ME. I CALLED THAT ANEESH KC (9745998109). HE REPLIED THE BUMPER IS NOT IN STOCK AND DISCONNECTED. I WAITED 2 MORE WEEKS AND CALLED MANJUSHA (9745998035). REPLIED THAT SHE WIL CALL BACK.. EVERY MONTH I CALLED THEM, BUT SAME RESPONSE. I E-MAILED MARUTI UDYOG, THEY GAVE ME THE NUMBER OF REGIONAL OFFICE. (04714074444) I TALKED TO AREA MANAGER SAMEER. HE TOLD ME THAT HE WILL SETTLE THIS. BUT WHEN I CALL HIM NOW THE REPLY IS HE IS IN ”CONFERENCE”, ”MEETING” etc.

ALMOST 6 MONTHS THIS CONTINUED. NOW IN THIS MONTH (FEBRUARY), I WENT TO WORKSHOP AGAIN. BUT THE WORKS MANAGER NAMED VINOD (9745998004) (%NO 1) ABSCONDED. I CALLED HIM. BUT REPLY IS- HE CAN OR CANNOT COME. I HAVE TO WAIT!!! MANY HAVE TOLD ME THAT HE IS THE MAIN BUG THERE.

I RETURNED HOME. THE SERVICE CENTRE IS 30 KM AWAY. I DISCUSSED WITH SOME ADVOCATES. THEY ARE SAYING THAT INDUS MOTORS IS THE MOST FRAUDULENT AUTO WORKSHOP IN KERALA. I DONT HAVE LEAVE AND I DONT HAVE TIME TO FOLLOW UP ALL THESE IDIOTIC THINGS.

THE THINGS THEY HAVE DONE ON MY CAR

1. FITTED REFURBISHED BUMPER AND FENDER

2. APPLIED POOR QUALITY PAINT

3. BUMPER PAINTED WITHOUT PRIMER

4. DAMAGED CAR'S TOTAL PAINT FINISH

5. WATER CLOGS INSIDE FRONT DOOR DUE TO NON REMOVAL OF BROKEN GLASS PIECES

6. BROKEN GLASS PIECES STILL REMAINS INSIDE THE CAR

7. NEW DENT ON FRONT DOOR

8. FITTED DUPLICATE ANTENNA

9. INDECENT BEHAVIOR BY THE PAINTER ON ME INFRONT OF THE CUSTOMER CARE MANAGER

10. MENTAL AGONY

11. FRAUDULENT BEHAVIOR BY WORKS MANAGER VINOD, WORKER ANEESH KC, CCM MANJUSHA, MARUTHI UDYOG.
