Be care full placing your advertise in yellowpages like infomedia, if already placed hope you will not face any problem which i have faced and think twice before any new advertisement contract.
here i am giving the mail copy which i forwarded concern group but not yet receive any reply.
Dear Sir,
This is with reference to the advertisement space booked in Yellow Pages via your esteemed firm INFOMEDIA 18 Limited. I would like to offer my feedback through this mail to you which I believe will surely help you to serve your customer in a better way.
I am attaching herewith the scan copy of the receipt for the amount paid i.e. Rs. 18861/- (Ch No. 129290 dated 4th April 09 drawn on Maratha Sahakari Bank Ltd). At the time of booking of the space I was given to understand the things listed below:-
A) An advertisement in Infomedia Yellow Pages 10
B) Display of my banner of At Home Consultancy on your to be launched search engine “Ask Me”.
C) Guaranteed response through another to be launch telephone search engine.
Very unfortunately I would like to state there is not even single lead generated till date from any of the above. It has certainly created a question in my mind about the reputation and credibility of your firm. Please go through the below explanation with reference to the promised benefits mentioned above by your firm.
A) An advertisement in Infomedia Yellow Pages 10
The book was handed over to me late in November- 09. Though the book is for the year 10, I am assuming as promised my advertisement will continue to be there (for 12 months) in your next issue as well. I request you please confirm the same over mail.
B) Display of my banner of At Home Consultancy on your to be launched search engine “Ask Me”.
There was no fix date communicated to us about the launch of your on line search engine which I think is very unprofessional for an established name like yours. I have been endlessly searching for the your so called “search engine” ask me. This is also promised for 12 months. Like the above there is no response/lead I received so far. Again I would like to know the start date and end date of my banner on Ask me.
C) Guaranteed response through another to be launch telephone search engine.
In this case also there was no date communicated to me about the launch of your telephonic search engine. You will also agree to the fact that this is not the correct way of catering to your consumers who has paid his hard earned money to you with the only belief of fair business relationship. I am not hopeful of getting any lead like your other two.
It is difficult to understand for me why there is so much delay and apathy reflected from your side. I had paid the money in April-09; I got the Yellow Pages copy in Nov-09. There is delay of more than 6 months just for delivering the book. Something really difficult to digest. I am still waiting for the delivery of remaining two promises (Ask Me and telephone search engine). To find out more details I tried to contact your Dadar office which was busy and not-responding most of the time. When I am able to get through your representative I was told to contact the Thane Branch whose representative had sold this space to me. Your Thane office was at their best at discontinuing the call when they were unable to answer the queries.
Hope you understand the agony I have gone through the entire period chasing you guys. The amount that I have paid Rs 18, 861/- may be insignificant amount for you considering your volume but the same means a lot for me. When I am investing such significant amount in advertisement through an established company like you I certainly expect to benefit from it which has not happened even 1%.
I hereby request you to compensate me by giving me more space and extended period or similar such option. I would request you to please respond to this mail within 7 days, failing which I would be constrained to take this matter to Consumer Forum.
