Ion Exchange (India) Ltd. / Zero B Prestine
Incompetent Service, No value-for-money

Dear Sir/Madam,

We have been using the product for last 4 yrs. Invested about Rs.18000/- to buy the product and on an average Rs.3500/- for AMC. I have rejected the offer to renew the AMC for the current year, as I feel it is waste of money and health.

The quality of the product on the first year was good, even on the borewell water. But now, though we are using corporation water from past 3 yrs, the quality of water is not good. The quality of service and the promptness of the service center is pathetic. The product is now junk (completely unusable), thanks to the service team. The team, however, is very intelligent to ensure that the customer renews the AMC. During the last service of the AMC, they make sure that the item starts malfunctioning in some way or other by the time AMC expires and they convince you that AMC has to be renewed to take those repairs.

I have been complaining of the pressure drop and loss of shining of water. The pressure drop, When the service team came, they did not speak anything about the pump. They, however, replace the filters. After end of the service, now they say that the pump has to be replaced, which is of high cost. Whatever facts I give or the arguments I make, the service man and the customer care manager say that they can attend to it only if the AMC is renewed. I simply rejected to renew the AMC.

The other point is that when the sales team comes to your home, they bring the instrument to measure the hardness of water. However, the service team who are supposed to prove that the water quality is not lost after the service will intentionally do not bring that instrument.

After last service they made on April 25th (when they came to negotiate the renewal of AMC), the quality of water is horrible. There is no difference in taste whether you drink from the tap or through Zero B.

My sincere suggestion to the users is that you can buy 2 water purifiers every year for the AMC charges of Zero B.

Go for the Zero B, if you want to waste Rs. 18K one time, Rs. 3.5K every year, and most important - waste about 25 liters of water for every 5 liters of unfiltered water with all minerals and salts intact for your drinking.

Regards,

Ananda Joshi.
