I had booked a railway ticket on August 2nd PNR PNR - 4365418214. I had sent an email to IRCTC on [email protected] on August 4th and August 7th asking them to cancel the full ticket. They never responded to me and when I called them after the journey date they told me they can only give me 50% of the refund as the journey date has passed and they have not received my emails.
This is completely unfair treatment.
I am pasting the emails that I had sent to them:

Please cancel the following full ticket immediately (). I tried to cancel the ticket online but was getting an error message. For identification purpose the driving license number that was used for booking the ticket is WB-24-031249.
