I am concerned about the id proof sought by the TTE

I am concerned about the id proof sought by the TTE in case of e-tickets. i am student of 11th std. aged 16 years. while travelling to jaipur, on the basis of e-ticket, the TTE asked me for an id-proof such as, voter id-card, passport, license, pan card, govt. issued i-card.

i failed to understand that how can a student have other id-proofs than a passport. legally a person below 18 years cant have any of the requisite id proofs. On 18th may while travelling to jaipur from jodhpur, in A/C three tier, the TTE asked for id proof i did not not and could not have any of the notified id proofs. i showed him my schools original i-card, but he refused to accept the same. of course, finally he had permitted to board but i had to face a lot of embarrassment and harassment. you are therefore requested to modify/ amend rules so as to permit the students on the basis of their school/college i-card.

i am sure this will curb corruption and help the youth below 18 years travelling alone!!
